Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor industrial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment.
- Sort and separate laundry items based on fabric type, color, and washing requirements.
- Load and unload machines, ensuring the correct usage of detergents and chemicals.
- Inspect all laundered items for quality, removing stains and re-washing items if necessary.
- Fold, organize, and store cleaned linens, towels, and garments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and surrounding areas.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Assist with inventory management, tracking the usage of linens and supplies.
- Provide timely and efficient service to other departments and guests as needed.
