Supervise all activities in the kitchen - ensure quality is maintained at all times

  • Minimum Qualification: Diploma
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 5 years

Job Description/Requirements

- Plan staffing & work shifts to adequately cater to work activities.

- Monitor stock level of raw materials to avoid stock out.

- Monitor cooks to ensure they follow recipe and standard cooking procedure.

- Confirm product quality (taste, look & texture) before passing to the eatery.

- Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to avoid risk of food spoilage.

- Train, coordinate and provide necessary guidance to cooks & kitchen assistants.

- Send daily shift reports, red flagging any issues that needs management attention.

- Inspect and receive only standard raw materials for production.

- Ensure all kitchen equipment are in good working condition.

- Ensure kitchen is well cleaned and safe to work.

- Monitor cooks personal hygiene.
