We’re seeking Analysts to help guide us in our quest. As a member of our Reporting & Management Information Analytics team, you will focus on gathering, recording and interpreting clients' accounting information, and using both internal and external data to identify telltale trends or areas for improvement.
Objectives of this Role
· Execute accurate reporting, enabling the department to analyze options and make financial recommendations
· Improve, execute, and effectively communicate significant analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across our clients’ businesses
· Provide strong and timely financial and business analytic decision support to business partners and various organizational stakeholders
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
· Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities
· Interpret data, analyze results using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques
· Prepare financial reports on a determined schedule
· Prepare, analyze, and summarize various weekly, monthly, and periodic operational results for use by various key stakeholders, creating reports, specifications, instructions, and flowcharts
· Evaluate key performance indicators, provide ongoing reports, and recommend business plan updates
· Utilize technical skills to create charts and graphs for visual understanding
Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, mathematics, business management, or economics
· Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy
· The ability to write reports
· Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with managing budgets
· Experience using accounting software
· The ability to present findings in a polished way
· Proficiency with statistics and dataset analytics (using SPSS, SAS, Excel)
· Experience using data visualization tools, such as Microsoft PowerBI and Infogram
· Entrepreneurial mindset, with an innovative approach to business planning
Work Style
Working is remotely, with physical meetings at least 4 times a month.
