Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations
- Develop budget projections
- Issue timely financial statements
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close processes
- Manage accounts payable and receivable reconciliation
- Ensure prompt execution of bank payments
- Calculate taxes and file tax returns
- Maintain balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Provide insights on financial stability and cash flow
- Audit financial activities and documents
- Uphold confidentiality of financial data and perform necessary database backups
- Adhere to financial laws and internal policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficient with accounting software such as QuickBooks, and advanced skills in Excel
- Knowledgeable in handling general ledger functions.
