Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Audit/Control Officer to join our internal audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Minimum Qualification : HND
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Department head in Implementing best audit and business practices in line with applicable internal audit statements.
- Identify the financial risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk.
- Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved
- Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability
- Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement
- Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely audit information is reported to Management and/or Risk Committees.
- All other duties as may be directed by the reporting manager
Requirements:
- 3 years of relevant experience
- HND in a related field
