Job Summary

The successful candidate will serve primarily as the Assistant to the Director of Human Resources.

Job Description/Requirements

Proposed Work Schedule:

Days: Monday – Friday

Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm (U.S. Based, Eastern Standard Time)


1:00pm to 10:00pm (Nigerian Time Zone)

(1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Hours: 40 hours per week


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 Candidate should possess a 4-year, business related degree from an accredited university / college or equivalent experience.

 Candidate should be proficient in using MS Office 365 including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.

 Candidate should have experience and intermediate level of proficiency in commonly used Human Resources related software

 Candidate must have 5+ years of experience working in the Human Resources field including knowledge of wage and hour laws, employee benefit plans and human resource functions.

Note: Strong consideration will be given to candidates with experience supporting a U.S. based corporation.

 Candidate should possess soft skills including, but not limited to attention to detail, work-flow organization, ability to use initiative, ability to follow instructions, and strong verbal and written communication skills

 Candidate should have demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks and projects, analyzing information, mass data entry, activity-based reporting, customer interactions and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:


 Review, update applicant data in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

 Track data and run compliance reports via ATS

 Schedule virtual appointments for applicants

 Assist with coordinating new hire onboarding processes

 Maintains human resources database and records by entering data from change notices.

 Prepares human resources reports by assembling and compiling data.

 Provides information by answering questions and requests related to security officer licenses and human resources data.

 Secures human resources data by completing database backups.

 Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping personnel data confidential.

 Maintains operation of equipment by following operator procedures and calling for repairs.

 Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by following policies and procedures.

 Base Compensation: N150,000 per month – 200,000
