HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMIN LEAD (HRAL)

Job Summary

The HRAL is responsible for managing the human resources and administrative functions of DRUPP Kwara. In collaboration with management, develop HR & administrative strategies and processes that will ensure effective management of talent and resources and ultimately contribute to the success of the organization

Job Description


 Develop HR procedures and policies in line with the Nigerian Labour Law and best practices
 Maintain and update all employee files with all employees’ documentation and information
 Prepare monthly payroll and ensuring statutory deductions and remittances are promptly done
 Promote a culture of growth and collaboration. Manage employee relations, performance management and coaching of staff
 Develop standard operating procedures and guidelines for all administration procedures
 Support recruitment efforts, conduct reference checks and prepare employment contracts
 Oversee the proper onboarding and training of all staff
 Lead staff welfare/staff care activities including periodic teambuilding events
 Develop annual HR and Admin plans and budgets
 Drive employee compliance with DRP Kwara’s policies and promptly address incidents of non-compliance
 In collaboration with the Company Secretary, review all contracting documents to ensure DRUPP Kwara is properly protected and expectations are clear
 Oversee the management (janitorial, space allocation, IT, office supplies, security, periodic maintenance, repair) at DRUPP Kwara office.
 Ensure DRUPP Kwara’s office and surrounding area including are clean and tidy at all times
 Ensure that vendors/suppliers adhere to SLAs
 Lead all internal event organization and coordination
 Prepare periodic HR & Admin reports
 Performs other duties assigned


Qualifications/Skills/Experience
 Minimum of Bachelors degree from a reputable higher institution. Diploma in Human Resources Management desired
 Minimum of (7) years experience, four (4) of which must have been spent in managing the HR and Administrative function in a fast-paced environment.
 Membership of CIPMN is required
 Demonstrated experience in developing and managing human resources and administrative plans and policies
 Demonstrated understanding of the Nigerian Labour Law.
 Experience in training delivery required
 Vendor and procurement management experience is required
 Sound knowledge of best practices in HR management and procurement management
 Strategic and tactical HR skills with a hands-on approach
 Self-starter with the ability to proactively set things in motion ahead of when the need will arise
 Proficiency in the use of MS Office suite and ability to adopt/explore new technology
 Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
 Able to plan, think ahead, and prepare action plans to achieve results
 Possession of good work ethics, credibility and integrity
 Excellent leadership, problem-solving and coaching skills
 Strong collaboration skills with great attention to details and business acumen
 Ability to work under pressure and quickly turn around quality work
