Job Description/Requirements

The post holder must 

  • Be Female (for gender balance and inclusion)

  • Be Well-spoken with an assertive personality

  • Have at least 5 years relevant experience

  • Age should not be less than 30 years old

  • This is a full-time and permanent position

  • Salary range:  N1,500,000 – N2,000,000 per annum



  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies, initiatives and systems

  • Provide counseling and guidance on adherence to policies and procedures

  • Prepare job descriptions for old and new hires

  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans

  • Liaise with external partners including vendors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements regarding Pension, PAYE, HMO etc.

  • Handle Payroll taking into account leave, sick days and absences

  • Develop training and development programs

  • Assist in performance management processes

  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues

  • Maintain employee records (attendance, leave etc.) according to policy and statutory  requirements

  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure compliance with company policy

  • Oversee the office administration, managing inventory of office supplies etc.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor  


  • Proven experience as HR Generalist, administrator or other HR position

  • Knowledge of all HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)

  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures

  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a an added advantage

  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude

  • Attention to details

  • Strong ethics and reliability

  • BSc/BA in Industrial relations and personnel management, business administration, social studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus

  • HR Credentials (e.g. CIPMN , CIPD professional certification by examination, PHR from the HR Certification Institute)
