Job Summary

A client, an Infrastructure engineering service provider that majors in both system engineering and telecommunication services, is looking to hire a Human resource personnel who will oversee the overall function of the HR department and ensure a balance between employees' work-life balance and the organization's corporate goals To plan, direct, and coordinate human resource, administration, and enterprise support services to drive the company’s corporate strategy aimed at achieving business objectives as set by executive management.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the HR policy framework and ensure its full implementation across the entire organization
  • Ensure that all HR SOPs are followed throughout the entire organization
  • Position the HRM unit as a strategic business partner in the company’s decision making
  • Perform periodic adequate manpower planning in line with business operations
  • Design robust and practical HR strategies to help drive the financial and non-financial objectives of the company
  • Plan and coordinate KPI setting for each year in line with corporate objectives
  • Implement effective recruitment and selection programs for the company
  • Coordinate the company’s biannual/yearly performance management exercises
  • Oversee the management of the enterprise support applications and facilities at all aspects to guarantee the attainment of SLAs and business KPIs
  • Design and implement compensation and benefits packages that are internally equitable and externally competitive
  • Plan, design and monitor the Human Resource and enterprise support department’s budget
  • Plan, execute, and monitor training and development programs
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • Organizing meetings and managing databases
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and organizing team-building activities
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations managing office budgets
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers, and clients

Requirements:

  • Academic qualification of a Degree in Human resources or related discipline
  • 3 - 5 years cognate experience.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Nigerian Legal and Compliance requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance is met.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office (emphasis on Excel, Word, Powerpoint Presentation); HRISsystems will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
  • Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools, and payroll and human resources software
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Knowledge of software packages
  • Good interpersonal and ability to communicate effectively and clearly

Remuneration: NGN 250,000 - 350,000 and open to negotiation depending on experience
