Job Summary

A law firm on Lagos Island is looking to hire a Human Resources Administrative Manager with strong people and administrative skills.

  • Minimum Qualification:Degree
  • Experience Level:Mid level
  • Experience Length:3 years

Job Description/Requirements

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all day-to-day HR administration tasks; ensuring that all employee and HR records are accurate and up to date
  • Assisting with the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs, including compensation, health insurance, expenses, vacation, and other personnel packages
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  • Communicate and ensure the adherence to policies regarding code of conduct in the organization, including the consequences for disobedience
  • Other tasks as may be directed;


Job Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level, preferably in Human Resources, or equivalent
  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Relevant experience within a professional law firm
  • Proven office management, administrative, or assistant experience
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal - the role involves liaison with internal and external people at a senior level
  • A self-starter, able to demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation, but also work closely with other team members and display trust and loyalty
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings. Able to deal sympathetically and appropriately with clients and to show empathy with them
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to multitask and keep calm under pressure
