Housing Mistress
Job Summary
We require the services of an Experienced House Mistress to oversee the development and delivery of new housing service for young adult ladies and women in need of accommodation across the community. You will be working for a religious organization, at the start of their exciting journey to provide supported housing accommodation for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The incumbent must be passionate about delivering a great service to a diverse client group and ensuring service users fully understand their responsibilities to maintain property condition. You will ensure Safeguarding is at the heart of the service, escalating any concerns and working closely with the Coordinator to ensure Service Users have access to the appropriate support. Accurate record keeping and following processes will be key to success.

Lead and manage the provision of a high quality, responsive housing service that delivers and focuses on positive customer outcomes and satisfaction, meeting that needs and aspirations of the local community.
Develop and drive a performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement, accountability and personal responsibility.
Have the day to day responsibility and management of Rehoboth Home requirements
Deal with Emergencies in an efficient and appropriate manner, recording all incidents and disturbances in accordance with our Policies and Procedures.
Ensure that the premises is secure, monitor movements of residents in and out of the building and checking visitors list to ensure all guests leave at appropriate times.
Ensure all records and IT data on systems is updated with accurate and up to date information.
Manage relationships with third parties to maintain property standards and ensure the needs of service users are met.
Ensure compliance with organizational requirements for Data Protection, Risk Management, Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and other Legal and statutory requirements along with best practice and general duty of care.
Maintain high level of hygiene and cleanliness within the building and its environment.
Track and acknowledge all Donations to the Home and all official correspondence must be signed off by the Coordinator.
Go above and beyond items listed in this job description and perform all other duties as assigned to ensure excellence in the administration of the Home
Required Qualifications and Skills
Relevant equivalent experience or A good general standard of education (A Christian)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as a team player willing to learn
Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage their own workload
Intermediate or strong IT skills
People Management skills
Substantial administrative experience
**Knowledge of Social Services will be an advantage
