Responsibilities

• 3 years’ experience in housekeeping within the hospitality sector

• Experience in an international branded hotel is an added advantage

• Strong knowledge of the use of industrial cleaning equipment and products

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

• Customer-oriented and friendly

• Prioritization and time management skills

• Working quickly without compromising quality

• Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors

• Vacuum clean carpets, rugs and draperies

• Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery

• Clean metal fixtures and fittings

• Empty and clean trash containers

• Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner

• Wipe down glass surfaces

• Make up beds and change linens as required

• Tidy up rooms

• Iron and press clothing linen

• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working conditions
