The Hotel Marketer is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to attract and retain guests, increase brand awareness, and drive revenue. Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, trends, and competitive insights.
  • Collaborate with management to set marketing budgets and strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the hotel's online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
  • Develop and execute SEO, PPC, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and optimize digital campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Oversee online reputation management, responding to reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor, Google, and OTAs.
  • Create compelling marketing content, including blog posts, videos, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms and channels.
  • Design and implement campaigns to highlight seasonal offers, events, and special packages.
  • Build partnerships with travel agencies, event planners, and local businesses to drive bookings.
  • Coordinate media relations and press releases to promote the hotel.
  • Organize and promote events, conferences, and other activities hosted at the hotel.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and CRM software.
  • Prepare reports detailing marketing ROI, website traffic, and conversion rates.
  • Use guest feedback and data insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with revenue goals.
  • Promote loyalty programs and other incentives to encourage repeat bookings.
  • Develop pricing and promotional strategies to increase occupancy during off-peak periods.


Requirements:

  • HND/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media management tools).
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical skills with experience in interpreting data and optimizing campaigns.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Creativity and innovation in designing marketing campaigns.
  • Guest-centric approach with an understanding of hospitality trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
