Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage hotel staff, including department heads, to ensure exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Foster a positive work environment by providing guidance, support, and motivation to all team members.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing complaints and implementing measures to enhance guest loyalty and repeat business.
- Regularly review guest feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth and efficient operations across all areas.
- Manage budgets, forecast revenue, and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
- Monitor financial performance and control expenses to achieve financial targets.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase hotel occupancy and revenue.
- Collaborate with the sales team to attract new clients and maintain relationships with existing ones.
- Maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of hotel operations, including accommodations, amenities, and services.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Stay updated on changes in hospitality regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate staff to enhance their performance and support their career growth.
- Organize regular training sessions to improve skills and knowledge among team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agents, and business partners.
- Represent the hotel at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Handle emergencies effectively, including natural disasters, security incidents, and other unexpected situations.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
Requirements:
- A Minimum of BSc. or HND degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial management and budget forecasting.
- Experience in marketing and sales within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and manage crises effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software.
