Hotel Cook

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation.
• Follow recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency and meet customer expectations.
• Operate kitchen equipment and utensils safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Contribute to menu development and creative dish ideas.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required.
