Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency and meet customer expectations.
- Operate kitchen equipment and utensils safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Contribute to menu development and creative dish ideas.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required.
