Job Description/Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • The business development process involves all activities directed toward establishing, developing, nurturing and maintaining successful exchange with customers. Creating and maintaining profitable relationships for competitive advantage by selling value and offering proactive solutions to achieve the company’s financial goals.
  • Responsible for developing, marketing and selling all trading activities to an agreed annual target of invoiced revenue, to increase year on year. Responsible for researching, developing marketing strategy/business analysis and plan that will help the company break into a new market, take advantage of opportunities therein to meet predetermined goals and objectives
  • Analyze market trends/ information’s and put in place a marketing strategy/business plan that will give the company a competitive edge in the market place thereby translating into new business/ profit to improve the bottom line of the company
  • Oversee the effective delivery of OAL’s business and commercial activities. Instilling a marketing led ethos throughout the company business operations in line with the company Policy, Mission and Visions.
  • Drive the business development in existing and new markets.
  • The broad promoter of the company’s image and brand/product line.
  • Analyzing, forecasting, advising and providing timely and prompt information on developments in the marketplace to customers to help them make informed business/investment decisions that will lead to customer satisfaction and referrals.
  • Develop a close and mutually satisfying customer relationship culture that will earn their trust and loyalty.

Qualification & Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science or HND degree required from a recognized institution 
  • Master of Business Administration or its equivalent 
  • A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • Relevant professional qualification is desirable 
  • Minimum of 15 years’ cognitive experience, 5 of these will have been a sales and marketing senior level
  • Familiarity with operational, financial, quality assurance and human resource procedures and regulations is a must.
