Help The Talent Academy (HTT) is an ambitious football development academy that gives young talented players the training and exposure they wouldn’t normally get through their local club. With branches spread across Nigeria, the United Kingdom and other non-African countries, our vision is to be the best football academy globally.

  • Experience Level : Senior level
  • Experience Length : 8 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:  

  • Formulate and implement a detailed marketing strategy. 
  • Conduct market analysis and evaluate industry developments. 
  • Identify key demographics and create customized marketing initiatives.
  • Create and execute a communication plan. 
  • Oversee both internal and external communication efforts. 
  • Draft and disseminate press releases
  • Oversee social media channels. 
  • Design and implement email marketing strategies. 
  • Enhance website content and user experience. 
  • Produce captivating content (videos, graphics, written material). 
  • Collaborate with the media team to generate high-quality outputs. 
  • Oversee the content schedule. 
  • Preserve and strengthen the academy's brand image. 
  • Guarantee uniform branding across all platforms. 
  • Establish brand standards.
  • Cultivate connections with media organizations. 
  • Obtain media exposure for the academy. 
  • Handle media inquiries.
  • Plan and oversee events (such as tournaments and trials). 
  • Coordinate logistics and promotional activities. 
  • Ensure the successful execution of events. 
  • Administer the marketing budget. 
  • Monitor expenditures and return on investment. 
  • Direct and oversee the marketing and communication team. 
  • Offer guidance and support. 
  • Foster the development of team members' skills.  

 

Requirements:  

  • HND/BSc/MBA in any relevant program
  • Relevant Certification in marketing or communications e.g. Certified Marketing Professional (CMP), Digital Marketing Certification, Certified Marketing Specialist (CMS), Certified Sports Marketing Professional (CSMP), Certified Sports Executive (CSE), etc., is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in marketing and communication.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the sports industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing trends.
  • Strategic thinking and planning.
  • Creative problem-solving.
  • Budget management.
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
