Job Summary

Responsible for the overall financial integrity, operations, investing and working capital management of the organization. You are accountable for the financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, and metrics tied to that strategy, and to report accurate financial result.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial operations of the subsidiary and implement operational best practices.
  • Prepare daily reports to the GMD, Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts, arrange for debt and equity financing.
  • Review and reconcile ledgers and financial statements.
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
  • Devise and implement manual or computer-based system for general accounting
  • Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
  • These reports include balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns.
  • Formulating and review of finance policies and procedures
  • Direct and coordinate activities of other accountants performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Regular training of accountants within the group
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure that all financial data is correctly captured and reported.
  • Audits and prepares reports to substantiate transactions prior to settlement.
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.



Responsibilities:

  • BSc in Accounting and a minimum of seven years experience
  • Professional certifications are an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years’ professional experience in the travel industry.
  • Ability to pay excellent level attention to detail
  • Excellent level of initiative and ability to work autonomously
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change and a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
  • Proven time management with the ability to meet deadlines, organizational, and planning skills
  • Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports to relevant stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skill.
