The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of the Business growth plan with clear targets for Terminal deployment, retrieval, remapping, Agent recruitment, transaction monitoring and commission in consonance with the company’s operational plan.

Job Description/Requirements

Key duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Leading and monitoring team to pursue and achieve the desired objectives in accordance with  established plans, sales goals and schedules  
  • When required interface with commercial banks on the company's partnership and sale of company agent banking solution.  
  • Generates new business by creating and sending out bespoke proposals to prospects. 
  • Develop and Maintains profitable customer relationships with Agents.  
  • Implementation of the growth strategy in line with the company’s overall strategy including Drawing and implementation of the Agent recruitment and training program.  
  • Ensure the execution of regular Agent visits and prepare performance reports as per agreed visit schedules and CBN guidelines in line with the annual divisional strategic plan.  
  • Attend to Agent, internal and external customer queries and complaints in line with the customer service standards of the company.  
  • Work closely with the IT department to make ensure agent transaction systems are up and running all the time.  
  • Carry out business risk assessments and institute controls in place to mitigate the risks, monitor compliance and safe operations of the agents by carrying out periodic visits.  
  • Support the business units in the identification of potential agents, coordinate joint marketing activities and cross-sell Alternative Banking Channels products.  
  • Carry out back-office processing to ensure timely reconciliation of agents accounts and also monitor both float and liquidity levels of Agents.  
  • Analyse, review, redesign workflows & process within and between organizations to achieve  breakthrough improvements in performance measures  
  • Ensures the Divisions operational compliance to ISO QMS standards.  
  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.  
  • Provide the necessary leadership coordination required to get the company growing and to sustain its competitive advantage.  
  • Monitoring and Reporting on the performance of the quality management system. 
  • Create process automation and document process flow with step-by-step procedures of all operating systems, processes and risks associated within the department.  
  • Monitor and evaluate team by ensuring that duties are effectively and efficiently completed within SLAs. 
  • Perform other jobs as assigned  
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed  
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools. 
  • Handle changes in policies or SLA

  • B.Sc. Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relative discipline.  
  • Minimum of 4 – 6 years experience.  
  • Minimum of 2 years experience and an in-depth understanding of the Fintech industry 
  • Ability to work with the sales team and manage the same.  
  • Excellent negotiating and convincing skills  
  • Experience in selling at a Senior level to different classifications of customers – Corporate and Retail 
  • Strong values - Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, Innovation and Commercial Discipline 
  • Well-developed prospecting skills and proven excellent presentation ability  
  • Proven experience in a challenging target-driven environment  
  • A good understanding of Internet technologies  
  • MBA Degree an advantage

  • Effectiveness of the marketing and business development strategies as evidenced by: 100% of financial and business targets as determined by sales budget  
  • Effectiveness of our branding/advertising strategies as evidenced by:  70% awareness of our brand and product offerings per sample population and market  segment, 70% positive reception of the company's brand in the market per sample population and market segment  
  • ­User-friendly and effective brochures, manuals and training programs developed to support the  marketing and branding strategies 
  • Compliance of our work area and other internal structures to the corporate brand objectives 
  • Effectiveness of the company's alliance framework and relationship management strategies 
  • Average time to resolve issues/inquiries raised by Agents  
  • Customer satisfaction ratings and effectiveness of follow up strategies  
  • Attainment of profitability targets across product and service offerings  
  • Attainment of profitability targets across market segments  
  • Number of new products/services launched into the market  
  • Profitability of new or existing market opportunities
