Job Summary

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, career-minded Human Resources Executive to act as a strategic partner to the organization by embedding corporate HR Strategy into day to day work and providing professional guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective of adding value to the business.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide high level administrative, strategic planning and operational support, research and advice to management on administrative matters such as staff management, financial planning, and facility management.

  • Contribute to the business strategy by helping management to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviours, structures, and processes.

  • Assist management in providing employees with development opportunities that align with current and future performance standards.

  • Understand and solicit employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns to improve employee engagement.

  • Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across departments to facilitate continuous improvement.

  • Support line managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with business strategy.

  • Facilitate a strong leadership and coaching culture.

  • Ensure policies and procedures are properly aligned with local laws and company values.

  • Support the business with labour relations strategy, management of employee and industrial relations, consultations, disciplinary appeals, conflict resolution, negotiations and mediations. 

  • Leads talent reviews and succession planning exercises to ensure the business has the necessary capabilities to accomplish objectives.


Requirements

  • 6-8 years of work experience in a similar role is required with more than 2 years’ cognate job experience in a leadership position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources  Management or any other field. 

  • Any relevant professional certification (CIPM/SHRM/HRCI/SPHR/PHR etc.) is an added advantage.


Knowledge, Skills & Attitude

  • Clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between talent and other HR initiatives and business strategy.

  • Significant knowledge of HR policies, processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management), and talent management practices.

  • In-depth knowledge about the operational needs of the Business; Business-driven with strong financial acumen. 

  • Strategic Management: Ability to develop clear, actionable steps in support of an overall business strategy.

  • Strong Analytical skills: Ability to recognize trends and develop recommendations based on data analysis.

  • People Management: Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people.

  • Excellent interpersonal relationship, communication and customer service skills.

  • Conflict Management.

  • General managerial / administration abilities.
