Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Drives strategy, brand, and reputation management
- Leads media relations and stakeholder engagement
- Ensures consistent messaging across internal, external, and digital channels
- Manages crises and reputational risks
- Provides strategic counsel to leadership while fostering employee engagement and enhancing Etazuma’s public image.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field from a recognised university.
- Master’s degree in Communication preferred.
- Evidence of continuous professional development in corporate communications/ public relations over the last 3–5 years.
- Minimum of 6–10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record in managing high-profile corporate communication campaigns and crisis situations.
- Experience managing complex community relations and CSR initiatives in Nigeria.
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, including regulatory bodies, host communities, and joint venture partners.
- Experience providing communication oversight to multiple entities or client companies.
