Job Summary

The Head of Brand Management & MIS leads brand strategy and drives the operational delivery of strategy that grows market share and brand’s reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth. He/ She is responsible for creating brand experiences across consumer/customer decision-making journeys. The Head of Brand Management & MIS is essentially tasked with understanding the mindsets and capturing the imaginations of consumers, investors, business leaders, and key influencers in the business’s market. He/ She will uncover consumer insights and deliver innovative marketing campaigns. He/ she will also be responsible for enabling customer-influencer/user-channel research and leveraging those insights in the development of impactful and innovative branding/communication campaigns.

  • Minimum Qualification: MBA / MSc

Job Description/Requirements

Critical Tasks:

  • Custodianship of immediate as well as the long-term health of the brand. Drive brand preference and purchase among end consumers
  • Developing strategies for gaining market share and price premium over competition
  • Applying deep understanding of all customer groups to building insightful communication and programs
  • The role would involve understanding consumers well, use insights to develop a marketing and brand strategy and contribute towards the overall growth
  • Brand-building with a very strong focus on design as look and feel would be a key aspect of this business
  • Developing a robust portfolio strategy aimed at maximising Purechem's share of the pie
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize research data to uncover new understanding and arriving at powerful insights
  • Effortless toggling between long term strategy and short term tactics
  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales & profit targets
  • Responsible for creative collateral delivery across ATL and BTL
  • Work in close collaboration with the creative agency and internal teams to deliver collaterals
  • The role would be expected to visualize the benefits of strategic partnerships in specific areas and ensure smooth closure of the alliances in conjunction with the leadership team

Qualifications, including competencies, skill, knowledge:

  • MBA from a premier institute
  • 8-10 years relevant experience in Building Material / FMCG companies  
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
  • High level of initiative and assertiveness, Excellent team skills, Ability to work with a sense of urgency, effectively balancing multiple requests and tasks
  • Ability to combine macro strategic, policy and planning perspectives with attention to details, controls and other micro concerns
  • Ability to work within a very diverse workplace and environment 
  • Must have strong strategic planning/account planning experience
  • Proven skill in consumer insight mining
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
