Growth partnership manager

Job Summary

In support of Mdundo’s continued growth and expansion in Africa, the company is seeking a Digital Marketing and Partnership Manager to help grow our user base in Africa leveraging marketing efforts and partnerships. We’re looking for someone who has a creative growth mindset, digital marketing and business development skills, helping us reach our target of 18,000,000 users in 12 months. You are a professional who can identify potential partnership deals, develop the tactics to bring them to fruition. You have a knack for data, multi-channel marketing and digital innovation. You will be responsible for implementing partnership opportunities for large and complex partnerships, and also managing digital marketing activities. You will be a critical member of the growth and marketing team - a team of exceptional and creative talents from across Africa.

Job Description/Requirements


  • Engage and onboard new partners for Mdundo, leveraging new ideas that help Mdundo reach new users across Africa.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and delivery of the overarching partnership strategy at Mdundo.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure partner implementations are on track and delivering against the plan.
  • Liaise with agencies where necessary to reach maximum engagement and impact.
  • Developing, executing, and optimizing cutting-edge digital partnerships from conception to launch.
  • Providing ongoing actionable insights into performance to relevant stakeholders
  • Focus on deploying strategic initiatives identified as being a high priority in delivering user growth on Mdundo.


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital partnerships, and analytics.
  • Experience in business development is beneficial.
  • An analytical mindset that seeks to improve engagement.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Should have experience working in a digital agency and managing a reasonable monthly budget.
  • Passion for African music and the music industry.
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree
