Job Description/Requirements

  • You will be working most of your time for the Zwart Talent Foundation, which was founded this year with an aim to empower African youth to seize global opportunities while boosting the local African economy.
  • Experienced and seasoned IT professionals (from Zwarttech; we are the main sponsor of Zwart Talent), in their respective fields, aim to deliver quality education and professional development training to African youth to enable them to compete with international IT talent.
  • We offer many opportunities to grow with us. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our team of Marketers and will be involved in Graphics design, photograph and video recording/editing for the Zwart Talent foundation.
  • You also will be responsible for (co)design of the website and also community management (like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter and many other social sites/places) related to Zwart Talent. You must be based in Nigeria as most of our materials for Africa are created there.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic recommendations on how to increase our reach and impact online and offline using visual media.

  • Research best practices, new social media tools and come up with practical improvements to our process using visual media.

  • Manage and monitor our social media channels, and analyze the data for insights.

  • Produce various visual materials (video, images, designs).

  • Assist in content creation for online and offline marketing.

  • Assist the team in bringing creative ideas and concepts to life.

What we are looking for:

  • You are living in Nigeria.

  • Knowledge of video editing and recording.

  • Basic knowledge of sound editing and recording.

  • Knowledge of graphic design.

  • Up to date on all relevant media and innovation that could be beneficial to our brand, specifically on community management.

  • Strong skills in visual presentations and content creation.

  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop / Adobe InDesign / Adobe Premier Pro.

  • A great understanding of global Adwords, Ads, Socials, SEO, email newsletters.

  • Fluency in English and preferably another language, with great verbal and written communication skills.

  • Eager to be part of a team and proactive.

  • You can work 44hrs  a week.
