Job Description/Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide a monthly/annual sales plan and quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan
- Conduct competitor analysis to ensure the company's marketing strategy is competing effectively.
- Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's client base.
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts that keep the company innovative and competitive.
- Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends
- Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets
- Provide leadership, direction and focus for the team, to see to it that all targets and organization expectations are met.
- Provide the strategic leadership, team spirit and the drive to ensure the achievement of company objectives from the sales and marketing team.
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets monthly/quarterly by successfully managing the sales and marketing team.
- Present sales, revenue reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Drive brands development, maintenance and optimization while working closely with the Sales and account management team to effectively align platforms and services with consumer demands.
- Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc that meets market demands
- Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives
- Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation
- Take ownership of objective setting for the marketing team and sales team, coaching and performance development, monitoring of sales performance and Client operations.
- Increasing corporate client base and meeting corporate sales target.
- Training sales and marketing team on skills required to grow on the job at least once a month.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MSC or MBA is preferred
- 10+ years combined and progressive senior management experience with budget development, and staff management experience
- Extensive leadership, marketing and sales management experience in a technologically driven and fast-paced advertising industry and marketing environment
- Demonstrable vendor and contract management
- Demonstrably track record of achievement of performance management improvement and delivery at a senior management level
- Proven experience in vision mapping, innovation, strategy and business analysis
- Good understanding of cross-departmental project coordination and planning experience
