Job Description

  • Management of all activities and responsibility for financial performance
  • Overall supervision and management of the organisation staff
  • Hiring and evaluation of staff performance
  • Organize and implement training programs for all staff
  • Control of food and beverage operations
  • Control of food costing budgets and new menu creation
  • Preparation and submission of financial, staff, performance and other reports
  • Management of bar and restaurant to meet requirements
  • Contribution to the preparation of the events calendar
  • Administration and execution planning for events and functions
  • Recommending solutions and plans to increase productivity
  • Assigning all departmental heads duties and resolving all employee issues
  • Designing and proposing budgets
  • Ensuring maintenance of inventory of all equipment and supplies
  • Organizing weekly meetings to design effective strategies to achieve all objectives
  • Control and oversight of shop operations
  • Maximizing venue hire
  • Developing profit and loss statements and preparing required operating plan for same
  • Implementing all improvement strategies and supervising achievement of objectives
  • Recommending solutions to all issues
  • Implementing policy and procedure changes
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the facility and property
  • Control of the maintenance schedule and daily checks
  • Oversee administration
  • Prepare schedules and rosters for adequate shift coverage
  • Evaluate everyday activities
  • Maintain positive communications with all Customers and stakeholders
  • Foster positive relationships with Customers and Suppliers
  • Attend meetings as required
