Front desk representative

Job Summary

We are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Representative to undertake all receptionist and client relations duties at the shop floor of our showroom. She will be the “face” of our brand for all current and potential customers while delivering a good experience. The ideal candidate must have a proactive, friendly, and goal-oriented personality while also being very resilient, disciplined, and ready to learn. The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while been focused on closing deals on products and services we offer.

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all sales-related tasks at the showroom
  • Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper, etc.) Greet and make guests feel welcomed.
  • Prepare spreadsheet of customer contacts, update and follow up periodically.
  • Answer customer questions and address complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages.
  • Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels, etc.
  • Monitor website, emails for requests, requests for orders.
  • Monitor showroom inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Keep updated records and files.
  • Monitor office expenses and costs.
  • Schedule regular maintenance and cleaning of facilities
  • Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules, etc.) 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as front desk representative, agent, or relevant position. 
  • Focused on assigned tasks and follow through to deliver expected objectives.
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. Computer, product scanner, P.O.S, printer, etc.) Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking abilities, and resourceful.
  • Goal-oriented.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service orientation
  • Good Qualification in Marketing, Business Administration or related field. 

CAREER DEVELOPMENT:

  • Training on various aspects of the job to sharpen skills and competencies available on online and offsite platforms. 
  • Facilitate short-term training in overseas institutions.
