Job Summary

The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for managing the front desk operations and ensuring a positive first impression for visitors, students, and staff. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Visitor Reception: Greet and welcome visitors, students, and staff in a warm and professional manner.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Visitor Management: Maintain a visitor log, issue visitor badges, and ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Information Distribution: Provide accurate information about the school’s programs, events, and policies.
  • Mail and Package Handling: Receive and distribute mail and packages to the appropriate recipients.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
  • Crisis Management: Handle emergencies and issues professionally, directing them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Customer Service: Address and resolve any inquiries or complaints, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.


Requirements:

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. A Master’s degree or additional professional qualifications are preferred.
  • Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role.


Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work independently and as par of a team.
