Our client is one of the largest food and drinks exporter from the UK. Due to their continuous growth and increasing demand for their products in West Africa they require a skilled sales Professional capable of marketing and selling the products to their customers in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  New business development
  • Call on customers and prospects on an agreed journey cycle
  • Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
  • Cold call to potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries
  • Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential customers in the market
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Gather market and customer information
  • Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
  • Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.

 

Required experiences:

  • 5+ years sales experience in a Sales role within the FMCG industry
  • Good understanding of and experience in working with B2B customers
  • Proven track record of selling a full portfolio of products.
  • Passion for selling FMCG or premium products
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills at customer level
  • Candidates will work as freelancers and they are responsible for paying their employment taxes etc


Other Requirements:

  • Build good working relationships
  • Understand the needs of the B2B customers
  • Research the market and related products and liaise with the head office team
  • Be dynamic, driven, customer focused, and strong minded
  • Be able to work successfully both in a team and independently
  • Have experience working with customers up-selling products


Location: Lagos


Salary: ₦75,859.22- ₦304,141.10 plus attractive bonuses
