Job Description/Requirements

Job Description

·      Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts

·      Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports

·      work in financial Control department 

·      Motivate finance Control team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback

·      Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing

·      Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

·      Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation

·      Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations

·      Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports

·      Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities

Job Requirement:

The candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:

·      Minimum of HND or Bachelors degree in Finance, Banking, Management or any other relevant field. Additional Post Graduate qualification or ACA or any other professional qualification will be an advantage)

·      Have over 3-5 years banking experience

·      Have good interpersonal skills

·      Have good computer skills (must be fluent in Microsoft words, excel and power points).

·      Conversant with preparation of management accounts, annual accounts and other performance monitoring accounts/tools as well as analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis /variances reporting.

·      Conversant with preparation of monthly, quarterly and bi-annually returns to regulators such as CBN and NDIC

·      Conversant with budget planning and control

·      Conversant analyzing fees, interest income, investment income, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis

·      Conversant Preparing tax returns as well as CBN, NDIC and other regulatory reporting requirements
