Job Summary
The Financial Accountant is responsible for managing the company’s financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, supporting audit processes, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role plays a key part in providing insights into the financial health of the organization and supports strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/NGAAP).
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Oversee general ledger maintenance and perform regular reconciliations.
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit processes.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns (VAT, WHT, CIT etc.).
- Maintain fixed asset registers and support asset management activities.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls and accounting policies.
- Provide financial data and analysis to support management in decision-making.
Requirements:
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ICAN, ACCA, or other relevant professional qualification (or in final stages).
- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment, pharmaceuticals will be an added advantages
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
