Financial Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for gathering, capturing, processing, and maintaining financial data and interpreting financial records.
• Responsible for keeping and maintaining fixed Assets Register
• Coordinates monthly and yearly financial reports for Management and Board ​Review and verifies accuracy of company financial records and processes
• Access and interpret financial data to provide insight into the organization’s ​financial performance, trends, and forecasts
• Performs ledger reconciliation with trial balance and schedules
• Responsible for accounts receivable reports
• Responsible for accounts payable reports
• Performs reconciliation of customers’ accounts
• Performs reconciliation of vendors’ accounts
• Responsible for the maintenance of project accounts
• Responsible for the remittance of various taxes and pension contributions
• Performs profitability and cost analysis for all business units and projects
• Performs monthly budget review, analysis, and variance reporting
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by your Supervisor and ​Management.
• ​Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• ​Responsible for ensuring high-quality standards are maintained in line with ​​ISO 9001: 2015 standards
• ​Other related activities as may be assigned by the management

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Financial & Tax Laws, Oil & Gas Industrial Requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication ​​proficiency
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, ​​Access, PowerPoint)
• Any other packages necessary for analyzing data to support decision-making
• Great organizational skills
• Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
• Must have a smart and presentable disposition
