Job Description

  • Oversee all payments issued (including those made to vendors, subcontractors, and staff) and ensure that they are issued in compliance with company policy.
  • Set up Administrative standards and policies for the company and monitor smooth implementations of these policies.
  • Prepare and manage Monthly payroll for staff.
  • Implement financial procedures, supervise financial functions and reports to the MD/CEO
  • Ensuring that the Administrative procedures are strictly followed and maintained
  • Record all financial transactions and ensures accurate bookkeeping with proper supporting documentation
  • Routinely prepare financial projections (including accrued and projected costs) with the project team in order to ensure that project expenses are in line with the budget and provide accurate forecasts
  • Coordinate and consolidate the projection of monthly, quarterly and annual expenditures and prepares estimates for the project
  • Oversight of the project’s management of financial and reporting functions to ensure compliance with the terms of the agreement
  • Ensure that all statutory deduction are made and remitted accordingly
  • Ensure filling of all statutory returns
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the management  

Reporting Manager:

  • Reporting to the Managing Director to provide support to ensure that the company achieves its business objectives and creates an environment that promotes staff commitment to the achievement of the organizational vision, mission, and strategy.

Qualification:

  • BSc. or HND in accounting, Business Administration or Any related field. 

Experience/Requirement:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience 4 out of which must be in Construction Company. 
  • Must be a Nigerian and ready to reside in Abuja- FCT.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledgeable on Legal/tax and insurance
  • knowledge of FIRS, ITF and PenCom Regulation and Procedures
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word or a similar accounting program is highly desired
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
