The client is a newly licensed gaming, betting and lottery business entity. The incumbent for this job role shall have the overall responsibility of overseeing the finance and accounts department, reporting directly to the CEO of the organisation.This entails responsibilities for budgeting, accounting policy formulation, financial reporting, etc.

Develop the process and framework to provide robust and detailed financial reporting
Interpret financial information to senior management, recommending corrective actions
Support stakeholders with financial forecasts and projections on all business verticals, maintaining the financial health of the business
Manage the preparation of budgets
Analyze business performance compared to forecasts
Review and evaluate cash flow, income, and expenses to identify optimization opportunities
Oversee the performance of the finance department
Carry out risk assessments based on the financial health of the business
Work with auditors to ensure the finances are monitored and maintained
Review, develop and maintain internal controlling processes
Review, develop and adapt internal payments processes and systems for optimized customer deposits and withdrawals functions
Work with the other departments to align the strategic plans of each business entity
Oversee tax management and planning, as well as banking due diligence processes
Support the development of internal accounting software
