Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
- Supervise, train, and schedule station attendants.
- Ensure all staff adhere to company policies and safety standards
Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
- Oversee customer service operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor fuel levels and ensure timely reordering to avoid stockouts.
- Manage inventory of other station products such as lubricants, snacks, and accessories.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile with sales records.
Financial Management:
- Manage daily cash flow, including deposits and reconciliation of sales.
- Monitor expenses to ensure the station operates within budget.
- Prepare financial reports and submit them to the senior management.
Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure the station complies with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular safety checks and maintain safety records.
- Train staff on emergency procedures and ensure readiness for any potential incidents.
Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Coordinate repairs and regular servicing of pumps, tanks, and other station equipment.
Sales and Marketing:
- Implement strategies to boost sales and attract more customers.
- Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
- Ensure promotional materials and advertisements are displayed effectively.
Reporting:
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and financials.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the station’s performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the retail or petroleum industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage financial records and perform basic accounting tasks.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the petroleum industry.
