Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate 6, 8, and 10-ton trucks to transport goods to various locations.
- Ensure timely delivery of products according to schedules and routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, and safety issues, perform preventive maintenance, and report any defects.
- Load and unload goods when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of proven work experience.
- Minimum of SSCE or Diploma.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, particularly with 6, 8, and 10-ton trucks.
- Strong knowledge of Lagos and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Good time-management skills and a commitment to punctuality.
- Physical ability to load and unload cargo.
