Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for pharmaceutical products, aligning with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Brand Management: Oversee brand planning, positioning, and lifecycle management ensuring impactful market penetration.
- Digital & Omnichannel Marketing: Leverage digital platforms, social media, and omnichannel approaches to engage HCPs (Healthcare Professionals), patients, and stakeholders effectively.
- Market Insights & Analytics: Drive data-informed decision-making through market research, competitor analysis, and performance metrics interpretation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Sales, and Commercial teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies.
- Content & Communication Excellence: Craft compelling messaging adhering to pharmaceutical industry regulations and ethical standards.
- Budget Management: Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring optimal ROI and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor marketing teams, fostering innovation and professional growth.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations (e.g., NAFDAC guidelines in Nigeria).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key external stakeholders including KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders).
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 6 years in pharmaceutical marketing, with demonstrable achievements.
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of pharmaceutical markets, regulations, and therapeutic areas.
- Digital Proficiency: Expertise in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Communication: Exceptional written/verbal skills with the ability to craft compliant messaging.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data interpretation and strategic thinking.
- Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with local (Nigeria: NAFDAC) and global pharma regulations.
- Experience with multichannel marketing (digital, print, events).
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and ethical marketing practices.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Adaptability in a dynamic industry landscape.
