As a DevOps Engineer, you will be pivotal in building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to automate processes, streamline deployments, and drive operational excellence. This position is remote

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS, DigitalOcean, and PlanetScale.
- Manage and optimize database performance (SQL, Redis).
- Develop and execute infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage them with Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Ensure network security and optimize infrastructure performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
- Implement robust backup and recovery strategies.
- Lead initiatives for process improvement and mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, PlanetScale).
- Expertise in database management (SQL, Redis).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
