Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design and planning for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Develop detailed plans, elevations, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the feasibility of designs.
- Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
- Oversee construction phases to ensure quality, adherence to design, and timely project completion.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure safety standards.
- Prepare project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Manage the submission of permits and approvals from regulatory bodies in Lagos.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in architectural design and construction management.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Lagos.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Creative problem-solving and attention to detail.
