Job Summary

A leading player in the financial services industry in Lagos requires the services of the following personnel to fill the existing vacancy. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. The applicant should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents

Requirements:

  • Either an ND, HND, or BSC in any discipline.
  • 1 - 6 years experience in a bank or non-bank financial institution.

Skills and Person Specifications:

  • Should be an excellent communicator with command of presence
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word
  • Should be agile and able to respond well to pressure
  • Should think creatively.
  • Should be presentable and professional
  • Should have strong performance orientation 
  • An organized personality.
  • Should not be more than 30 years

Remuneration: NGN 50,000 to 100,000 depending on the experience.
