Job Description

WORK HOURS​: Team-dependent (candidates should be open to work on a shifting schedule due to time zone differences)
 Annotate and label various elements and features across large data sets, designed to be used in the construction of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models and systems. 
 These include text (natural language processing), image and video (computer vision) datasets that make data usable for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning use cases such as autonomous driving cars, speech to text models and search/ 
 Understand and follow data requirements, annotation guidelines and standard operating procedures in order to execute the designated tasks effectively 
 Gain in-depth knowledge of different annotation tools, guidelines  and process flows to ramp quickly and execute at global standard
 Provide constructive feedback to support the project manager to improve workflow processes and data annotation tooling features
 Keep all stakeholders apprised of project status, risks, issues and needs
 Maintain ownership of each annotation assignment and respond to any changes in procedure quickly
 Continually develop context, knowledge and understanding of the relationship between your team’s data annotation work and the client’s needs

 Minimum Second Class-upper / 2.1 from a reputable University
 STEM backgrounds are given priority
 Strong analytical skills
 Computer literacy, internet savvy, efficient researcher using Google 
 Touch typing, critical (at least 45 words-per-minute typing speed)
 Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (specifically, Word + Excel)
 Strong written + spoken communication skills (full sentence construction, diction + grammar) are a must
 Ability to manage information flow and dissemination on a need to know basis
 Ability to plan and prioritize workloads in order to meet agreed deadlines
 Ability to work with data to provide useful reports and information 
 Ability to deliver key information with clarity, confidence, and poise 
 Strong interpersonal skills
 Must have completed their NYSC where applicable

 Receive training and perform duties in various client service business areas
 Learn from experienced members of their teams to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for productivity and growth
 Design and proffer business solutions and improvement initiatives for the global marketplace
