Coding and Robotics Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an effective coach in coding and ICT for elementary school pupils.

• Demonstrate exceptional organizational, listening, and communication skills with effective classroom management.
• Foster an interactive learning environment that encourages learners' participation and creativity using modern technologies.
• Promote computer literacy and academic excellence.

Requirements:

• Exemplary moral character with excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children.
• Proficiency in various software and programming languages, including block-based programming such as Microbit, Scratch, App-Inventor, etc., with basic knowledge of HTML, and CSS.
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing PCs and resolving minor issues.
• Robust technological skills with a growing passion for technology.
• Knowledge of graphics, robotics, 3D animation, and virtual reality is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with the Montessori and Early Years Foundation frameworks is also an advantage.
• Proven experience in participating in or coordinating school activities, clubs, and events related to technology and computing.
• B.Sc., HND, ND, or NCE academic qualification
• Possess strong knowledge of computer science curriculum and teaching methodologies.

Location: Ajayi Elekumo Layout, Alagbaka, Akure, Ondo State.

Remuneration: NGN 70,000
