Civil Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret structural design plans and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and building codes.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams to develop construction methodologies and schedules.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, addressing any structural issues or concerns that arise during the construction process.
• Perform structural calculations and analyses to validate design integrity and safety.
• Prepare and review construction documents, including shop drawings, submittals, and change orders.
• Assist in the evaluation of materials and construction techniques to ensure cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of existing structures to determine their condition and recommend necessary repairs or reinforcements.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation, including reports on site conditions, inspections, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes related to structural engineering and construction practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field within the construction industry.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-pacedmenvironment.
