We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer or COO to join our team and oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures! In this position, you will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As the COO, you will be tasked with implementing and tracking daily operations, aligned with the goal and the company’s strategies.
Our ideal has one or more of the following experiences:
- Rich experience in managing business operations within an established organization.
- Strong background in launching/managing Sales and Marketing operations, nationally.
- Resourcefulness and business experience within the Veterinary, Agriculture, or related industry.
- Experience with managing a team that has built a successful and market-tested technology product.
Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
Maintain relationships with partners and vendors
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
Spearheading strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction.
Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals.
Monitoring invoices, money handling procedures, accounting and bank processes.
Overseeing marketing initiatives and implementing better business practices.
Delegating responsibilities to ensure staff members grow as capable participants.
Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities.
Completing performance reviews in a prudent manner.
Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role
In-depth experience of different business functions such as marketing and sales, corporate strategy, fundraising, product development, etc
Working knowledge of performance management/operation metrics
Strong ethical fiber
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Great communication and presentation skills
Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
Proactive, forward-thinking and resourceful

Master's Degree or MBA is an added advantage.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or relevant degree.
