Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase TCR’s revenue and market share.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including advertisers, content creators, sponsors, and partners.
- Create and implement strategies for expanding TCR's reach across both the English and Hausa platforms.
- Oversee advertising and partnership negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for TCR.
- Work closely with the marketing and editorial teams to ensure that business strategies align with content and brand objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and potential revenue-generating channels.
- Develop and implement business plans that support financial growth and operational efficiency.
- Monitor performance and adjust strategies to meet financial and business targets.
- Represent TCR at industry events, conferences, and meetings, building the company’s brand and expanding business networks.
- Create and manage stakeholder contact list.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record in driving business growth, identifying new markets, and building partnerships.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans.
- Familiarity with the Nigerian media landscape and digital advertising market is preferred.
- Knowledge of both digital and broadcast media business models is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; proficiency in Hausa is a plus.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation and business growth.
