INFYTEL COMMUNICATIONS LTD. a reputed IT Products and Solutions / Services company based in Lagos is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the IT Product and solutions / Services and Managed IT services business in Nigeria. The applicant with a strong IT - Hardware/Software sales background only will be considered.

Job Description/Requirements

The primary roles and responsibilities of the Business Development Manager will be as follows:

  • The measure of success for a Business Development Manager will be to meet the financial objectives by building and managing the business development and sales efforts in the assigned segments.
  • To generate leads and convert them into sales from various platforms like email marketing, online IT portals, meeting in person with clients etc.
  • One of the main responsibility of the Business Development Manager will be to nurture existing relationships while prospecting for new potential business, client Communication & Pre-Sales activity.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and Senior Management of the organisation for client acquisition.
  • Responsible for translating the client needs to service lines and construct a winning client value proposition.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to deal closure.
  • Work extensively on New Business Acquisition and Development.
  • Engage the client and the account management team in regular discussions on our product offerings and understand their issues/ concerns if any.
  • Work with and develop the current prospect database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business.

An ideal candidate would be:

  • Candidate must be graduate in science with NYSC completed.
  • Working directly with Customers/ IT Partners
  • Minimum 4 years of IT Software/Hardware Sales Experience working with clients & prospects across Industries.
  • Proficient in Relationship Development & Management with CXOs, Decision Makers & their Teams across HR, IT & Procurement department
  • Proficient in Business Development, Upselling & Cross-selling, Revenue Generation, & Collections.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity.
  • Possess excellent presentation skills.
  • Possess excellent computing skills.
  • Good analytical and communication skills.
