Job Summary

A proactive, results-driven and oriented candidate with solid background in tendering, sourcing, negotiation, and execution of local and foreign trades; Oil & Gas, Energy, Agric Produce, and services. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the end-to-end tendering process, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
  • Lead and coordinate the preparation and submission of tenders, proposals, and bids.
  • Review client requirements and ensure timely and compliant bid submissions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Analyse local and global market trends, pricing structures, and macroeconomic indices affecting supply and demand.
  • Conduct market research to support strategy development and competitor analysis.
  • Support contract negotiation and post-tender clarification processes.
  • Develop and manage a diverse buyer portfolio, including international trading houses, refineries, and industrial end-users.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Development, with at least 2 years in a tender-focused role in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and winning bids in a competitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of tendering procedures (RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal software/tools.
