Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and client visits.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Develop customized proposals and presentations to pitch to potential clients.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products and services.
- Prepare regular reports and forecasts on business development activities and performance.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the company’s brand and offerings.
- Negotiate and close business deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the FMCG or Wine and Spirits sector is highly desirable.
- Candidates without direct experience in these sectors but with a strong interest and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Results-oriented with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
Additional skills:
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
- Prior experience in the FMCG or Wine and Spirits industries is a strong advantage.
- Existing network within the retail, hospitality, or distribution sectors.
