Business Development Executive

Job Summary

An e-commerce start-up is looking for a skilled Business Manager to lead and supervise the work of our employees. You will be in charge of designing business strategies and managing all day-to-day operations to guarantee company efficiency. Superb interpersonal and leadership skills are vital for this role, as good teamwork is important for our business success. Suitable candidates should also be excellent written and verbal communicators, and possess the ability to identify opportunities for growth.

Job Description/Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients
  • New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and suggesting relevant improvements in our business offerings and propositions.
  • Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities
  • Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets
  • Implement the company’s sales/growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Continuously explore and identify new markets and customer needs
  • Represent the Company’s brand within and outside

Key Requirements:

  • You have to be a self-starter
  • You have a diploma/degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 3 years experience in a management position.
  • Outstanding leadership abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations.
  • Demonstrable analytical thinking & business insight.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an orientation toward working in a collaborative environment
  • Strong work ethic and an ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and writing skills. Ability to review, synthesize information and produce high-quality documents.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at a time under deadline while managing other colleagues.
  • Make presentations to clients and ensure closure of major deals
  • Develop an annual plan that delivers on the company’s goals and targets
  • Track all sales and marketing activities to support the annual sales plans and targets
  • Develop performance metrics to measure the progress of all sales and marketing efforts by the team and ensure these are tracked on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Represent the Company’s brand within and outside
  • Understand the company’s products and services and be able to communicate its unique value proposition to customers
