Job Summary

We are seeking to hire an experienced business development officer with strong sales experience on behalf of our client in the shipping & Air freight forwarding industry.

  • Minimum Qualification : Degree

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth for the company.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company’s customer base and increase market share.
  • Generate leads, qualify potential clients, and secure new business deals.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and partners to promote the company's services.
  • Lead the negotiation and closing of contracts, particularly in supply chain and 3PL services.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and closing of high-value deals with medium to large businesses.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies, both offline and online, to enhance brand visibility.
  • Build a strong professional network and confidently engage with senior decision-makers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to provide tailored business solutions.
  • Create compelling business proposals, presentations, and marketing materials for potential clients.
  • Present business value and tailored solutions to clients, demonstrating the company's expertise.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competition, and customer needs.
  • Analyze market trends and data to make informed business decisions and recommend actionable opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure smooth implementation of business strategies.
  • Work with senior management to align business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on business development performance metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of business development efforts.


Requirements:

  • Male or Female, below 35 years old only
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Economics, or any business-relevant course
  • Minimum 5 years of successful operational experience
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Executive/Manager
  • Excellent leadership and organizing skills
  • Analytical and creative thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
  • Proven track record in closing and signing deals related to supply chain and & 3PL an advantage
  • Marketing Experience in a Commercial / Sales / Business Development capacity providing solutions for a medium to large business
  • Logistics & 3PL experience preferable although not compulsory
  •  Ability to qualify opportunities and make actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional presentation skills; dynamic presenter with ability to convey the business value that INL can deliver
  • Great networker and able to interact confidently with senior decision-makers.
